Coca-Cola HQ, London

In 2014, Artistic Licence supplied and commissioned the control for a media wall spanning three floors of the London headquarters of Coca-Cola. Featuring RGB pixels made out of 3888 glass Coke bottles, the wall forms part of a larger installation incorporating hand-made art, memorabilia items and iconic advertising imagery.

Mushroom Lighting – the company responsible for the media wall design, build and installation – brought in Artistic Licence to provide a control solution offering sophisticated dynamic effects and programming flexibility going forward. A 30-universe Colour-Tramp system running on a dedicated rack-mount PC took care of the control, while DMX512 distribution to each section of the wall was achieved using 3 Data-Lynx O/P units.

Artistic Licence also undertook on-site training to ensure the system’s features were used to their full potential.

The feature-wall installation was created by Acrylicize working in collaboration with MoreySmith.
